The Summer Refuge – Shimla

Shimla is situated in the Shivalik range of Himalayas with a combination of low lying hills to gigantic mountains, which provide adventurous tourists with a number of outdoor activities like trekking, fishing, skiing et al.

For those on honeymoon in Shimla, camping and ice skating are among the most preferred activities. Himachal Tourism provides for camps in various parts of the district, and the ice-skating rink in Shimla has the largest open-air area with naturally frozen ice. Near by sites include Kufri, with its rich biodiversity, Narkanda, which offers a spectacular view of the plains as well as the snow covered peaks. Chail, Rampur, Fagu, Sarahan and a dozen of other breathtaking sites is what makes Shimla different from the other Hill stations.
